Welcome to Baby goes Retro! 

The idea of creating Baby goes Retro was born in early 2006 through a love and passion for baby and children’s wear. During recent trips “home” to Sweden we had discovered that there is a very strong retro style in baby and kids fashion. Inspirational patterns from the sixties and seventies featuring on clothes as well as accessories. It is all about new fresh colours, coming away from the traditional pink for girls and blue for boys. Scandinavian designer houses are now creating the most wonderful and unique clothing for babies and children.  Bright colours, lots of unisex and high quality fabrics combined with simple and stylish everyday designs make them irresistible for both boys and girls.

We instantly fell in love with the whole retro style and knew that it would be perfect for Aussie kids. We are therefore proud to introduce an outstanding range of Scandinavian labels many of them exclusive to Baby goes Retro. We are also excited to feature hugely popular fashion label Katvig from Denmark in our shop.
